Here at Mercedes-Benz of Burlington, our dealers are advocates of comparison-shopping for vehicles. After all, a vehicle is a big purchase, and drivers should do the necessary research before making a decision. At the same time, we believe that Mercedes-Benz vehicles will come out on top when compared to similar vehicles from competing automakers. One of the most popular Mercedes-Benz SUVs at our dealership is the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB, and we’d like to compare this compact SUV with a similar vehicle: the 2020 Acura RDX.
2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB
The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB is a compact SUV that excels in the areas of technology, interior luxury, and performance. One of the most innovative tech features is the Mercedes-Benz User Experience, which is an in-car personal assistant. For instance, if you say, “Hey, Mercedes, I need a coffee,” it will display a list of nearby coffee and direct you there using the navigation system. The innovation continues in the driver assistance and safety features, which allow you to change lanes with the tap of a turn signal, park hands-free, and even help “cover your ears” before a crash.
2020 Acura RDX
The 2020 Acura RDX is another compact SUV with some similar features to the Mercedes-Benz SUV, including available all-wheel drive. While there are some technology features inside the cabin, you will not find anything like the Mercedes-Benz User Experience. While there is Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration (also found in the Mercedes-Benz GLB) and the AcuraWatch suite of safety features, the Acura SUV comes up short when comparing the driver assistance features side by side.
